This summer I have been looking for the new perfect knife. I’ve had my normal chefs knife since I got married, and to be honest it wasn’t that great to start out with but that was all we could afford at the time. I have been looking for months and refuse to buy ONE knife that costs $100 plus. I know, I know you get what you pay for but that just seems ridiculous! I also have seen a ton of advertisement for those “new” ceramic knives. I was also very unsure of those too, but they were much more affordable. I broke down and bought a paring knife that was ceramic just to see if I liked it. I think it cost me $10 at Sur La Table on sale. I LOVED IT!!!!
I’ve since then bought two more ceramic knives to add to my collection from William Sonoma that are chefs knives. They cost me a total of $40 for two. My largest concerns with these knives were sharpness. They honestly have lasted much longer than my metal knives when it comes to sharpness and are significantly cheaper than buying a “nice” metal knife. It cuts smoothly and is very light weight. If you are looking for a new affordable knife, try the ceramic paring and chefs knives.
You are spot on concerning these knives! They are fantastic! Super, super sharp! Perfect! Beware users — easy to slice yourself, but we love them. Thank you for the recommendation!
I'm so glad y'all like them as much as I do Dale Jean. Yes, they are super sharp so everyone be careful. Thanks for the feedback!! Have a great week.
