Ingredients
4 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
4 T powder sugar
2 T vegetable oil
4 cups milk
6 egg yokes
4 tsp vanilla
6 egg whites
1/2 tsp salt
1. Plug in waffle maker to pre heat while making the batter
2. In a mixer with the mixing paddle attachment combine flour, baking powder, powder sugar, vegetable oil, milk, egg yokes (keep the whites separate for later use), vanilla and mix until smooth
3. Transfer batter into a large mixing bowl
4. Wash mixing bowel to prepare for egg whites and add whisk attachment to the mixer
5. Add egg whites and salt to the bowl. Beat on medium high until stiff peaks are formed (don’t over beat because it will deflate the egg whites)
6. Once the egg whites have developed stiff peaks fold it into the pre mixed waffle batter
7. Spray the waffle maker with Pam so the waffle batter won’t stick
8. Use anywhere 3/4 of a cup to 1 cup of batter to fill the waffle maker and wait for the finished indicator light to appear when they are finished cooking
9. Enjoy!!!
***TIP: place your oven at 200 degrees F to place finished waffles in the oven, on a cookie sheet, to keep warm while the others finish cooking
