Ingredients
2 T butter
1/4-1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup white onion, diced
1 1/2 cup chicken stock
1 wild rice package
1. Place a sauce pan over medium high heat; add butter
2. To the melted butter, add onions and dried cranberries
3. Once the onions have become translucent add chicken stock and bring to a boil
4. Once the the stock comes to a boil add the rice, stir, and then lower the heat to medium low; cover with a lid
5. By lowering the temp and adding a lid to your sauce pan it will steam the rice and rehydrate the dried cranberries
6. Check on your rice after 10 minutes of cooking, possibly stir if needed. Cover and finish cooking until the rice is fluffy and ready to serve
7. Serves best as a side with Pork Chops
