Changing up your food "playbook"

Homemade Hot Chocolate

Homemade Hot Chocolate 

 

Cooking Time: 15 minutes; Yields 4 cups

Ingredients
4 cups whole milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup Hershey’s coco powder
Dash salt
3/4 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Marshmallows to top hot chocolate in the serving cup

Cooking Instructions
 

1. On medium low heat add the milk to a sauce pan, don’t bring to a boil
2. After a couple minutes the milk should be warm, add coco powder and sugar to the sauce pan.
3. Whisk mixture until there are no clumps of coco or sugar
4. Once mixture is blended whisk in vanilla, salt, and cinnamon
5. When your coco is hot, add to your favorite coffee cups and top with marshmallows
6. Enjoy!!!
